VHH Antibody Library Screening Service
Introduction Of VHH Antibody Library Screening Service
VHH antibody from camelid VHH or cartilaginous fish IgNAR is currently the smallest antibody, the size of about 15 kDa, has the advantages of small size, easy to produce, high preparative yield, good solubility and stability, etc. VHH has a low immunogenicity and can be broadly distributed in vivo, and it plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and drug delivery, etc. The diagnostic and therapeutic roles of VHH have been widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of human diseases as well as animal diseases in animal husbandry and fisheries. Due to its small size, high stability and solubility, as well as high binding affinity to its target antigen, VHH has low side effects as a drug.

What We Can Offer?
Alpha Lifetech has a professional research team with many years of industry experience in phage display library construction and screening, and is committed to meeting the different needs of our customers in recombinant antibody development projects. We are happy to share our expertise in VHH phage screening with our customers to facilitate their project development and smooth progress. We have developed a complete and efficient screening strategy for phage antibodies, among which, phage ELISA is our main assay for confirming positive clones. Our lab has a library capacity of 2x10^10 natural VHH pre-made libraries with rich diversity. Through 2-3 rounds of panning, VHH antibodies that bind to various target antigens with high affinity can be isolated within 12 days without the need to immunize the animals, which shortens the VHH preparation time. In addition, we can humanize VHH, thereby reducing the level of immunogenicity. Our optimized phage display screening technology provides high-quality, fully functional humanized recombinant nanobodies that can help identify endogenous antigens for applications such as immunofluorescence and live cell imaging. Alpha Lifetech also has a proven yeast surface display platform, which can be screened by FACS to obtain high-affinity VHH antibodies that bind specifically to target antigens.
