Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR-2), also known as CD332 (differentiation cluster 332), is a protein encoded by the FGFR2 gene located on chromosome 10 in humans. FGFR2 is a receptor for fibroblast growth factor. FGFR2 has two naturally occurring subtypes, namely FGFR2IIIb and FGFR2IIIc, which are produced by splicing a third immunoglobulin like domain.
