MUC1 is a transmembrane glycoprotein prominently expressed on the apical surfaces of epithelial cells lining organs such as the breast, pancreas, and respiratory tract. Nacolomab tafenatox is a mouse monoclonal antibody designed for the treatment of colorectal cancer. The antibody itself,  nacolomab,  is fused with enterotoxin A from Staphylococcus aureus (which is reflected by 'tafenatox' in the drug's name).
